GEOFF COLLINSON - MANAGING DIRECTOR
INSTRUMENT – FRENCH HORN
Geoff Collinson began his studies on the horn in Melbourne in 1979. In 1993 he moved to Canberra to study with Hector McDonald, one of Australia's finest brass musicians who is currently principal horn of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. From 1983-1988 Geoff was a member of the Canberra Horn Consort and performed as a guest with many of Australia's premier orchestras. In 1990, Geoff was awarded the position of Principal Horn with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, a position he held until 2000. During this time he was also guest principal horn of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Chamber Orchestra. In 2000 Geoff left orchestral life and Sydney to pursue his two great loves, teaching and chamber music. He took up a position as Head of Brass at the Faculty of Music, University of Melbourne. Geoff was invited to be a resident at the Banff Centre for Performing Arts in Alberta, Canada for the Winter Program in 2003. He is Co-Director and founder of the Melbourne International Festival of Brass and Founder of TMP.
JULIE E RAFFE – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Julie Raffe is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia with 18 years experience at Village Roadshow, a public listed entertainment company based in Melbourne. Julie is also an Alternate Director for Austereo Group Ltd, a public listed radio group which is a subsidiary of Village Roadshow. Apart from traditional CFO responsibilities, Ms. Raffe retains financial oversight for Village Roadshow and all subsidiary companies, and is also responsible for the group human resources, risk assessment, tax compliance and technology functions. Before joining Village Roadshow she was an Audit Manager at Horwath & Horwath in Australia and the United Kingdom. Julie is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is also a member of Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and the Institute of Company Directors. Ms. Raffe is a non-executive director of North East Housing Service Ltd, a not for profit organisation overseeing transitional housing needs in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs, and a publicly listed funds management company HFA Accelerator Plus Ltd.
BRUCE MCCOMISH - NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Bruce McComish holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Honours) from Victoria University of Wellington and is a qualified accountant. He is the chairman of HFA Accelerator Plus Ltd and deputy chair of MFS Living and Leisure Group. He was previously a non-executive director of Metal Storm Ltd. Previously chairman of Burdett Buckeridge Young Limited, Mr. McComish was also the Chief Financial Officer of National Australia Bank Ltd and North Limited and worked for 18 years for Unilever PLC in Europe and Asia as well as Australia. Mr. McComish is the chairman of the Advisory Board of the Melbourne International Festival of Brass. He learned to play the euphonium and the trombone in the school brass band and reached the zenith of a modest musical career as the second trombone in the Royal New Zealand Air Force Central Band. For many years after that he played in community bands in the Netherlands, England and Australia and derived great pleasure from the music, fellowship and community service of these often unrecognised groups.
PROFESSOR BARRY TUCKWELL AC, OBE – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Barry Tuckwell's multi-faceted career in music spans more than sixty years. During this time he has performed throughout the world as soloist, chamber musician, teacher and conductor. Born into a distinguished Melbourne family, he joined the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at the age of 15, and a year later the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, before leaving for England. After playing with the Hallé, Scottish National and Bournemouth Symphony orchestras, Mr Tuckwell was appointed as Principal Horn with the London Symphony Orchestra. During his 13 years with the orchestra, which is a co-operative orchestra, run entirely by the players, he was elected to the Board of Directors and was Chairman of the Board for six years. He resigned from the Orchestra in 1968 to pursue a career as soloist and conductor, and in January of 1997 gave his farewell concerts as a horn soloist with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Barry Tuckwell was Chief Conductor of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra for four years, and the founding Conductor and Music Director of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra for sixteen years. He continues to have an active career throughout the world guest conducting, teaching as well as broadcasting, giving lectures and master classes. He currently holds the position of Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne and Honorary Patron of the Melbourne International Festival of Brass. During his residence in the United States he was Distinguished Visiting Faculty at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, and for six years served on the executive committee of the Maryland Humanities Council. Among the many awards Barry Tuckwell has received are the Companion of the Order of Australia, Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Honorary Doctor of Music from the University of Sydney, Fellow of the Royal College of Music, Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, the George Peabody Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Music in America, and the Andrew White Medal from Loyola College. He is also an honorary member of both the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music in London. He has made over fifty recordings and has received three Grammy Nominations.
PETER MARKS – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Peter is currently an Executive Director of Peregrine Corporate Ltd, a boutique investment bank specialising in identifying, structuring, investing in and listing small to medium sized enterprises on the Stock Exchange in Australia or the UK. The focus of activities over the last 7 years has been in the resources, life sciences and technology sectors. Peter also serves as a non-executive Chairman of KarmelSonix Limited, an ASX-listed medical devices company (with offices in Australia and Israel) as well as a director of Prana Biotechnology Ltd, a biotech company listed on the ASX and NASDAQ. Peter is also non-executive Chairman of MicroFuze International Plc, a technology company listed on the AIM market in London. Peter has had extensive experience with start-up and emerging companies, particularly in the technology space via direct investment as well as through Momentum Funds Management, a small venture capital fund founded by Peter (and 2 colleagues) in the mid 90's. In 2001 he joined the team at Peregrine Corporate where he currently is a director and shareholder. Peter started playing the horn at age 13, started playing professionally at 17 in various ensembles and is still pretending to be able to play today.
